Home stretch! What do you plan on doing after the challenge? Are you going to stay off sugar? Endulge? Moderate? Not give any of this another thought for a good long time?
How about that half marathon? That sounds like a really cool life experience. Are you considering it?
We are delighted to invite you all to the closing ceremonies Sunday December 20th at 7PM when the challenge will officially end. (Take a moment and breathe....yes, that means it WILL end BEFORE midnight on Sunday night.) We believe that by holding it at this time, we will enable more people and their families to come. The prize money will be divided among those tied for first place, but the prizes for percentage of body weight lost will still stand. Those wanting to be considered for highest percentage of weight lost will need to let me know what percent it was by Sunday morning. So put it on your calendar and bring a treat to share (I will NOT be bringing potato chips)

ReplyDeleteThere are several people in the ward who would like to do a challenge and maybe a few who wanted to continue starting in January. I said I wanted to do it again, but the sleep part has made me mad! :) Is anyone else interested? If so, I can let the other people know... I might even end up doing it.
28 for this week. I don't think I'll do the challenge again, and I'm not planning to do the half marathon either but good luck to everyone who does. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Christmas party!
ReplyDelete28...I'll consider the half marathon but not going to commit yet.
ReplyDelete28 for Chance. I've got mine and Taji's training schedule laid out for the half marathon, but I'd like to see the rules for the next challenge before I committ. This one has been great, but I am ready for it to be over... :)
ReplyDelete28. (We won't be around for the half marathon.)
ReplyDeleteNot sure what we're bringing to your house (maybe cinnamon rolls or cheesecake), but in two weeks I'm buying Nutella.
25.
ReplyDelete27 :( Spent several hours in the E.R. with my daughter and didn't get my 7 hours of sleep. I'm interested in doing another challange and probably the 1/2 marathon. I will not be able to attend on the 20th we'll be in Hershey with family.
ReplyDeleteTaji had 19 for the week, but is committed for the half marathon in April.
ReplyDelete28 for Anna and 28 for Danny.

ReplyDelete28. i'm not so much interested in another challenge but i'm signing up for the half this week.
ReplyDeleteand to answer your question, michelle, i'm going to enjoy christmas. :)
I've been turning in points by phone the last few weeks. I have to say, it's a good thing we only have 2 weeks left because I've almost given up multiple times over the last couple weeks. The regimen of it all is wearing me out!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll opt for personal monitoring rather than another challenge. And, I'm not doing the half. Sounds cool though!
Since I can't make it to the post-challenge party, I've picked up a few things to take with me on my trip for my own little party. They include orange marzipan, hazelnut mouse lindt chocolate, peppermint patties, and gummy bears! Yum!!!
Alana I am very interested to start another challenge in January. Malissa sounded so inviting with the half marathon. My only detriment is how I can meet the training schedule. I will figure it out in my days off this Xmas break.
